Meet Megan

I’m so glad you’re here.

Many people find me when they’ve reached the limits of what Western medicine and traditional therapy can offer. They’re still in pain – physically, emotionally, spiritually – even after “doing everything right.” I understand that place because I lived it.

For more than two decades, I worked in and around the mental health system, studying attachment, trauma, and generational patterns while also wrestling with my own body, marriage, and family system.  Over time, it became clear that talk and medications alone weren't enough.

I studied Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples and attachment and trauma theories of healing.  I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University.  I continued my work with clients experiencing homelessness, human trafficking, severe relational trauma, chronic illnesses, and other challenges.  I worked in the systems to support and bring healing and saw all the gaps in services first hand.

I eventually determined to help where standard approaches were falling short, especially for people whose pain was living in their bodies and relationships as much as in their thoughts and emotions.  I began to deepen my work with the nervous system, somatic practices, and vibroacoustic sound therapy, and I pursued Reiki Master training in the Tanran Reiki lineage with a trusted mentor. These experiences opened up a more nuanced understanding of the human anatomy system—what many traditions describe as the subtle body, chakras, meridians, auras, or the human field of consciousness—and how our experiences, beliefs, and relationships shape what is held there.

Today, my therapeutic coaching integrates evidence-informed approaches of somatic, sound, and subtle energy work to support change at every level of a person’s system: body, mind, spirit, and relationships. I pay close attention to what is happening in your nervous system, in your physical symptoms, in your attachment patterns, and in the often-unseen energetic and spiritual layers underneath.

My own Christian faith beliefs and spiritual life inform how I listen and hold space, but I do not assume or impose a particular belief system. Instead, I aim to create a space where your story, your body, and your connection with the Divine—as you understand it—are all welcome and supported.

I help individuals unwind the impact of past relationships, trauma, and generational patterns; relate to persistent physical symptoms as meaningful signals rather than personal failures; and build a felt sense of safety, connection, and love in the present. From this foundation, I also support couples in healing the nervous system, energetic, and attachment patterns that shape their most important bond.

If you’re standing at the edge of what medicine and conventional mental health approaches have been able to offer, and you sense there might be something more available—in your body, in your relationships, and in the deeper layers of your being—I would be honored to walk with you.
